Support PLNU Through Gift Annuity

Bill and Juanita Bodiford set up a gift annuity and were happy about the nice rate of return as well as feeling good about supporting Point Loma Nazarene University that has played a vital role in their family since 1942.

Little did they know that within weeks Bill would pass away. Juanita then had to move into another place and the security of knowing those regular annuity checks keep coming without her worrying about an investment have become an on-going gift of love from Bill.

"In addition," Juanita says, "getting 7.4% not only helps me now when I need it most and reminds me of Bill's care for me, it feels good to know we have supported the University at the same time. As the annuity check regularly comes in it is a reminder of what Pasadena/Point Loma Nazarene University has meant to our family. As Bill had said, "As if we could ever forget!"

In 1942 Juanita attended what was then Pasadena College. While there, she met Bill Bodiford at the Army Training Center. Later (mid 1960's) their first son, Tom, attended Pasadena College. Their two daughters, Anita and Joyce both graduated from the Point Loma College/University nursing program. Joyce also met her husband Lance Grace at Point Loma.
