Bresee Society

Point Loma Nazarene University possesses a rich heritage of providing Christ-centered liberal arts education. Since its founding in 1902, the university has been blessed with the enduring support of special friends and alumni who have contributed significantly to the realization of the university's achievements. Estate gifts through wills, trusts, annuities and other arrangements have been of particular importance. Invaluable support for campus programs and improvements has come from these sources.

Point Loma Nazarene University is grateful for those who have thoughtfully designated gifts to the university in their planned giving estate plans. The Bresee Society has been established to honor this special group of people. The recognition afforded to members of the Bresee Society is reserved exclusively for those who have made the university a beneficiary of:

• a will
• a revocable trust
• a charitable remainder trust
• a charitable gift annuity
• a life insurance policy
• the gift of a remainder interest in real property
• other qualifying estate gifts
• endowed scholarships

The Bresee Society is a special group of people who are making PLNU part of their legacy, and membership is granted for life. Bresee Society members receive invitations to special events throughout the year. They are impacting the lives of students who will one day be leaders and difference-makers all over the world.
